I have some great news! I am extremely happy to announce that last month I completed the required education, practical coaching experience and mentor coaching hours to receive my Certified Professional Life Coach designation. It took hard work, many hours of training, and LOTS of discipline. And remember me? I’m the one 
who wrote in my prayer journal how much I hate discipline. But I had an important personal and professional goal ~ to offer my clients the very best. That would take the discipline of meeting strict certification requirements. So here I am, almost two years later, with my CPLC designation through the Professional Christian Coaching Institute, and ready to become certified through the International Coach Federation as well. I am so excited to let my coaching clients as well as all of you know that Joy on Purpose Life Coaching offers the very best of what our profession has to offer.
What is your goal? What do you want to accomplish that you may have been putting off or just haven’t had the discipline and accountability to finish? It may be in the area of your career. Or perhaps it’s in your personal life or spiritual walk with God. Most of us are not good at discipline by ourselves. In my journey toward professional certification as a coach, I was encouraged, challenged and cheered on by my own coach, and the many other Christian Life Coaches who walked this path with me.
I encourage you to do what it takes to set and reach your goals. Discipline is not easy, but with the help of a tenacious friend or a life coach, you can not only set meaningful and attainable goals for your life, but also set out a plan to get there and have someone to cheer you on along the way.
